Vasco: Vasco police on Tuesday asked traders in the port city to install CCTV cameras in their place for security reasons.
During the meeting with traders, Vasco Pi Nilesh Rane asked them to make sure the CCTV camera they installed had a focus towards the road, which would help the police to gather information about crime in the event of a crime.
“We can get important clues when CCTV recording is available.
We do our best to catch the culprit but having CCTV supervision will be profitable.
This will help reduce crime in the city because there will be a higher risk of being caught,” Rane said.
He gave traders tips on positioning CCTV cameras, and notifying them that they had to choose a camera near their cash counters, in their shops, and if possible, one outside.
“We are looking for sponsors to install CCTVs cameras in the city.
You have to work with us to keep your interests,” Rane told the traders.
Most traders convince PI that they will install CCTV systems in their stores as early as possible.
