PANAJI: The secondary education council to Goa will introduce training at work for class XII students from the current academic year.
Students will be placed in a commercial place, with their parents’ approval, for a short time so they have the opportunity to watch the actual production line and workflow, said the council.
The school has been told that class XI students can also be considered for on-the-job training from the current academic year based on the pandemic situation.
“Students who are willing to finish training at their work with industrial commercial companies, banks, workshops, garages, tailor units, hotels, rental accountants, malls or other sectors, may be permitted to do so for a short time.

The Board said that if there was an establishment ready to provide several tasks or projects, which students can do from home, this can also be considered part of the workplace training.
“Visit to various industries / commercial companies / garages / hotels, etc.
Will be arranged, where students will be able to watch the actual production line and workflow.
Based on this, students must prepare reports about their visit.
Workshops in the institution must be Organized by calling experts from their respective fields to provide direct experience to students.
Similarly, webinars can also be set to provide practical exposure to students, “the council said.
