PANAJI: The Goa Waste Management Corporation (GWMC) has chosen to maintain disposal of condemned vehicles and unserviceable items, amongst others, putting in many different government departments.
The GWMC will tackle the job of condemnation to guarantee timely disposal of these products.
It is going to also make an inventory of items across different government departments, corporations and autonomous bodies.
A senior officer stated it has been discovered that a whole lot of disposable things are stored in several government departments in the nation.
The officer stated condemned vehicles are lying out government buildings throughout the state.

The officer stated that the present process of condemnation of all vehicles/unserviceable things is dull and is quite time consuming.
“An Asset Management Information System will soon be a practical instrument to facilitate simple and quicker condemnation of resources such as vehicles and unserviceable things at a time bound manner.
This instrument plans to offer single window clearance to perform condemnation,” the officer said.
