Panaji: The two-day winter session from the Goa legislature that began on Monday may not have a lot of time for the debate and discussion of various problems faced by countries such as unemployment, Covid management, mining and Mhadei, among others.
The state government will answer 298 questions, including 77 starring and 221 questions that are not forbidden.
Three bills have been registered for this session.
This is the last assembly session before the State to conduct a poll early next year and a political observer said that the opposition has lost its last chance to expose financial benches because there is no big business registered.
Even the opposition did not demand a long winter session during the finalization of business, the observer said.
Speaking to Toi, opposition leader drawn Kamat said this session was called to meet constitutional requirements.
“Whatever the problems we have to collect must be done during the question and answer hours.
There are many will come related to Covid management, current coal block status, cases submitted to communic land, among others,” he said.
