According to the police, in one of the incidents, the owner of the house of R Muthukukar and his parents locked the house in Krishnapuram near Karumanthampatti and went to his sister’s house in Thudiangur last week.
Muthukumar and his parents returned home on Tuesday and found the main home door open.

Based on complaints from Muthukumar, a case was registered at the Karumanthampatti police station, and the search had begun for thieves.
In another incident, a silver article with a weight of 2kg was stolen by a thief from a locked house in Kutradaam Nagar in Kovaipur.
The house belonged to R Ramesh, 39.
A police officer from the visit of the Kuniyamuth police said that Ramesh visited his relatives’ house in Tirupur.
When he was told about the theft, he returned home on Tuesday.
