Gold, silver ornaments stolen from the temple near Dharapuram

Tirupur: Unknown people have broken a temple near Dharapuram in the Tirupur district and made of gold and silver ornaments at the early hours of Wednesday.
The police said more than 200 worshipers had emerged for the Periya Periya Temple Festival in the Wharii near Dharapuram.
“When they went around 1am, the priest of the temple locked the door and went to his house.
When he returned in the morning, he found a broken door open and the gold chain and silver ornaments that adorned the gods lost.” He told the temple supervisor, who informed.

The police suspect that the perpetrators can become worshipers.
