Hyderabad: gold weighing 1,481 grams and worth Rs 72.80 lakh was confiscated from three female passengers in separate cases at the international airport here on Tuesday, customs officials said.
The women arrived here from Dubai on different flights and two of them brought gold in the form of pasta hiding it in underwear, while others hid it in the rectum, they said.
Customs Hyderabad ordered three cases for gold smuggling and said further investigation.
