New Delhi: As a young boy of 23 years, N Chandrasekaran first flight was on Air India in 1986 like many contemporary India at the time.
Now, 36 years later Chandra (as he is known) as chairman of TATA Sons heads the group that owns the airline.
In the message “welcome back” to the employees of AI after taking over the airline, he said: “I, like many others, have enjoyed reflecting the stories of the past brilliant airline.
Its first flight I was with Air India in December 1986 and I will never forget how special it feels to be on the ship, or the excitement when we soared into the sky.
Memories like that is incredible, but now is the time to look forward.
