New Delhi: The Union Minister for Youth and Sports Affairs Kiren Rijju on Tuesday congratulated Golf Uday Mane to qualify for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
“I congratulate Udayan Mane about qualifications for # Tokyo2020 after updating the Olympic ranking today.
We now have 3 golfers representing India at # Tokyo2020.

Previously, Aditi Ashok and Anirban Lahiri were two Indian golfers who had reached the qualification for the Tokyo Olympics.
Aditi is the first women’s Indian golfer to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics.
The Aditi Golfer has a script history after the last Olympic ranking was released last week.
He fulfills the requirements in the 45th place and will now play at the second Olympics.
The Indian Ace Golfer Anirban Lahiri qualified for the second lucky Olympics because he finished as the best Indian golfers in the last rank of Tokyo Games.
Sharing developments on Twitter, Lahiri stated that this was the best surprise he got in a few moments.
33 years pocketing the last quota available in the game ranking in the 60th place, led by the world No.
1 and recently crowned the open champion Jon Rahm (Spain).
The Tokyo Olympics will begin on July 23 and the game will last until August 8 this year.
The event was scheduled to be held last year but was postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic.
