Kusagra Kumar, a resident of Kavi Nagar and students at the end of LLB, drug addiction, police said.
He was allegedly killed by his friend and his wife after a heated argument and the body was thrown in the well.
But before he died, a wounded kusagra had sent a video clip to his friend, who helped the police track the defendant.
Kusagra’s brother was sad that around 2pm on Wednesday, the 24-year-old man left home without telling anyone in the family where he left.
“When he didn’t return at night, we started the search for him.
We made more than 50 calls to his friends but no one had information about him.
Late at night, we contacted the police and filed a complaint,” he added.
Anand Kumar Mishra, Sho of Kavi Nagar, said they asked several people who had seen Kusagra with his friends, Yogendra, who came from the same locality.
Both will take drugs together, police said.
“The police then found a video that Kusagra had sent one friend.
His friend saw the video just the next day and approached the police.
After that, Yogendra was arrested,” Sho said.
Yogendra had told the police that he and his wife hit Kusagra with iron head after the heated argument.
“The couple then wraps the body with a blanket, put it in a rickshaw and dumps it in the well,” Mishra said.
The police also recovered CCTV recordings where couples can be seen towards the well.
