Microsoft recently has good news for PC owners with older CPUs.
It is said that it won’t block users to install Windows 11 on a PC with a longer CPU, “as long as you download and install ISO files manually themselves”.

Microsoft has reportedly said that a non-supported PC will not be entitled to receive Windows updates, and even security updates and drivers may be detained.

“We have concluded that compatible 64-bit processors are selected, 4GB of memory, 64GB storage, UEFI Secure Boot, graphics requirements and TPM 2.0 are the right minimum system requirements to meet our principles,” Microsoft said in a statement.
“We did identify a set of PC models that fulfill the principles when running on the Intel 7 Gen processor that we initially included in our minimum system requirements,” the statement added.
