Patna: The investigation bureau of vigilance on Friday opened the Second District Bank Locker (DLAO) Rajesh Kumar Gupta Anita Gupta’s wife at the Sarasaram Branch of Bank Axis and recovered Rs 7.91 lakh in cash and gold and silver jewelry worth Rs 10.34 lakh from him.
Sleuth the vigilance has raided four places of Dlao, including two flats in Anandpuri and Naghwar Colony in Patna, a luxurious residence with an expensive interior design in his place of origin in Forbesganj and his official residence in Solaram on November 27 in connection with the non-proportional asset (DA) case.
With a new recovery, the estimated value of DA collected by DLAO has risen to RS 2.38 Crore.
Precautions have information about only Rs 90.11 lakh DA when it has stormed the DLAO premise after registering a case against it.
Gupta also handles the additional costs of the Sarasaram City Commissioner.
On November 4, the vigilance dehutmen had restored gold and silver jewelry worth at least Rs 47.36 lakh from the Gupta’s wife’s locker at the boring canal road branch in Patna.
