Google has begun launching a stable version of the Chrome 96 web browser for PCs and smartphones.
Updates are in work for some time now.
The new version brings some changes and improvements to the browser.
One of the most obvious changes is the addition of windows design elements 11.
All context menus, popups and windows on Windows 11 Windows 11 newly launched have rounded corners and now Google has included similar design languages in the Chrome web browser.
With the latest updates, the browser can now have a round angle on other UI menu items and elements.
However, new designs do not live by default and users must activate themselves.
Option to activate the current design is hidden under the flag.

Google Chrome 96 also carries support for advanced-forward cache for the desktop version.
With this feature, the browser will save data from a frequent or recently visited website to make navigation through them faster.
Apart from this, the browser also gets the dark theme mode of a new site that allows users to activate the dark theme for certain websites.
With updates, the company also stops the synchronization feature for Chrome users who still use the M48 browser version or before.
For those who do not know, Chrome synchronization features on the browser save passwords, bookmarks, search history, open tabs and preferred settings on the company’s server.
This feature helps you access all information stored on various devices using the same Google account.
It also helps you automatically enter Gmail, YouTube, and other Google services.
