Google finally makes image search easier for desktop users with Chrome update 92.
Expand visual lens search services, companies carry tools to desktop users through the Chrome Web browser.
According to a report by 9To5Google, Google Lens will be a newly integrated image search tool for Chrome and it will replace the option ‘Search Google for the old image’ image from the submenu right-click on the image.
Google Lens on Chrome will work in the same way as the previous option.
The search results will be directed to the new website ‘lens.google.com/search’ instead of showing search results in traditional google.com layout.
On the Lens.google.com web page, the image you are looking for will appear on the left side and the results will appear in the page’s right column.
Search results will be displayed with several parts that include the top matches, similar images, related content, and other search terms.
There will also be an option to ‘try again with Google’s image’.
Users will get a manual upload option where they can upload photos of their choice to do a picture search using the Google lens.
9To5Google has reported that Google Lens support for Chrome launches with a version of version 92.namun, the feature is not available for us at the time of writing this article.
