Google recently added the ability to take screenshots with Chrome 94 updates for the Android platform and now Giant Tech is reported to work to launch similar features on the Chrome browser for PCs.
As seen by TechDows, Canary 98 Canary Build has two flags available in Chrome: // flag related to screenshots.
One of them allows retrieving screens from the Hub sharing desktop and the second allows the edit flow for users who capture screenshots on the Chrome browser.
If you use the latest Canary Chrome 98, you can try the current feature.
To activate the screenshot feature in Chrome, go to Chrome: // flag and look for screenshots.
In Dropdown for “Desktop screenshots”, select Enabled.
You will see a prompt to restart the browser, click it.
Once activated, you will get a sharing icon in the address bar.
How to retrieve screens on the chrome browser on the sharing icon in the address bar and select screenshot.
Select the area you want to capture through the mouse pointer.
The image taken will be copied to the clipboard.
You can save images by clicking the Download button.
To enable edit mode for screenshot in Chrome, go to Chrome: // flag and search edit mode.
In dropdown for “desktop screenshot display mode”, select activated.
You will see a prompt to restart the browser, click it.

After you choose the area you want to capture.
Tap Edit Options at Prompt.
When you knock Edit, Chrome will take you to the new Chrome: // Page Editor image.
There you will find the option to edit the screen catch taken.
Until now, the new page is just a placeholder because the features are currently being developed.
