Google has started testing the comment features of comments for YouTube.
This feature is being tested on the YouTube application for Android and iOS and now available for YouTube Premium customers.
Comment translation features available for tests up to September 9 Translate instant for comments, as the name implies, automatically translates the viewer comments in the selected language.
What that means with the translation feature is turned on, when youtube detects that some comments are not in the native smartphone, it automatically translates it into it.
The new option is part of the YouTube experimental program that provides premium opportunities the opportunity to test new and upcoming features ahead of the final launch.
To try these features, premium members need to choose into the experimental program.
At the official post, the company also describes the steps to use this feature.
After selecting-enter for experimental features, restart the application and most likely you will start seeing the new Translate button in comments in other languages.
Users pretty tapped it to translate it.
YouTube also gives users the option to play back the translation by tapping the original view button.
This feature is currently in the testing phase and we do not have information when we can expect the final launch if it happens.
However, these features may look like additional bonus features, but can be very useful for creators and viewers.
This will help eliminate language barriers to both and especially for the creator to understand the reaction and feedback feedback on their videos.
