Google has recently started testing several new features for YouTube.
The company recently added image-in-picture mode for iOS devices and also tested Google’s assistant integration for topic advice.
9To5Google now reports about other new features that Google has started testing for the YouTube web version.
According to the report, Google has begun launching new features called features ‘Continue watch’ for the web.
This feature is designed to offer a smooth transition from the phone to the YouTube web version.
This is different from what we have seen where the application asks for users to ‘keep watching’ if you go back to the back of the video playing from the playlist.
This feature is currently being launched to a number of users.
With this new feature, if someone leaves a video half on their smartphone, new notifications will appear on the mini player at the bottom of the YouTube web version.
The mini player will display videos that have not been completed with the text that keep watching.
The user will then have the option to play it in the Mini Player itself or click on the Expand icon to watch it on the full screen screen full screen.
Also, for features to work, you must enter with the same Google account on both devices.
While features are still in the testing stage, it looks like a very good feature and will add to the convenience of watching videos on YouTube.
