Google is reported to plan to add a reminder feature ‘you have not responded to the message application.
Teardown Xda Developer Recently from the latest beta version of the application suggests that Google can add ‘nudges’ to the SMS application in the future.
According to the XDA report, the latest beta version of the message application carries the code that points to this feature.
This feature is designed to remind users that they have not replied to certain text messages.
The message application will automatically move the upward chat that he thinks is important for you to reply.
Teardown APK also suggests that users will have two options with this feature.
Users can set it to highlight messages that you might need to reply or follow up.
Nudges already available for Gmail and Xda have mentioned that they hope Google applies a similar approach to the SMS application as well.
This feature is still in beta and Google has not officially confirmed it.
So, it is not clear whether this feature will succeed up to the final application or not.
However, it is a pretty cool feature and is already in Gmail.
So, we expect that Google will most likely add it to the message application also in some updates in the future.
