Samsung Screen’s Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) was utilized solely in Samsung foldable phone versions until today but that can change.
According to a report by ET News, Korea, the South Korean technology giant could be looking to enlarge its client base for its UTG glass panels, beginning with none other than Google.
The report asserts that Samsung could make UTG panels to get Google’s first foldable cellphone, most likely to be known as the Google Pixel Fold and begin shipping them in the next half 2021.
Although not much is understood concerning the foldable telephone from Google, there were rumours about it from several tipsters and business analysts.
Tipster Jon Prosser has stated that the foldable telephone from Google may start late this year or even at the start of next calendar year.
According to screen business analyst Ross Young, the Pixel Fold may establish from the next half of the calendar year only.
It is not Google.
Other smartphone manufacturers like Xiaomi, Oppo and also Vivo are believed to be creating their own foldable apparatus.
In case Samsung intends to send them the UTG too, then it will be very rewarding for the technology giant.
Samsung has been the first organization to establish a foldable telephone.
