Google has added new features to the Chrome web browser to make the overall exploring experience better and simpler for users.
The company has recently added several new features such as new navigation that is easier for web pages, built-in screenshot and more.
Rumors suggest that the company is now working on a new download hub shortcut for Chrome.
The download section will display a new user interface that is similar to Microsoft Edge which displays a dropdown of a teacher that automatically disappears after the job is complete.
Chrome currently has a special page for downloads and also has a prominent blade at the bottom of the screen that not only consumes space but is also quite annoying.
REDDIT U / LEOPEVA64-2 users has reported that Google will replace the new UI download on Google Chrome Chrome and it will replace the existing download interface with the new download icon next to Omnibox.
Usage also highlights that the icon will turn blue after the download starts or if there is an active download and will automatically turn gray and disappear after download is complete.
Microsoft Edge, which is also a chromium-based web browser, currently displays similar interfaces, except the fact that it is placed near the profile icon.
Another change that will be seen by the download section is part of the update is a new circle that will show the progress of the download in real-time.
If you want to try the new download UI in Chrome, this feature is being tested on Canary Chrome.
