Most smartwatches that are running Wearos are expected to be used in certain orientation.
They are ideally used in the left wrist so the crown or physical button on the device is easily accessible to the right.
Even though nothing stops it from wearing a right hand, try it and you will see how uncomfortable it is to use the button.
Google Wearos currently does not support turning a watch interface of 180 °.
This means that if you wear a smartwatch in your right hand, the device orientation remains unchanged.
But this can change immediately.
According to the report by 9To5Google, Google finally solve the problem.
The feature request on Google’s problem tracker is now marked completed.
“Our development team has implemented the features you requested and will be available on new devices in the future”, the company writes.
However, this feature will only be available with the device in the future.
This means that the device currently running on Wearos 3 will not get the ability to reverse the UI orientation.
There is no timeline when Wearos will get the ability to wear upside down.
But when it happens, it is expected to come in the form of toggle in the settings.
One of the challenges that need to be addressed is how Wearo will reverse the scroll direction from the rotating crown.
The possibility of future WearOS devices can also reverse the button position with more than one button.
