The upcoming telephone is said to be said to be ‘pipit’ and can come with the same camera sensor as the Pixel series 5.
The handset, according to the report, will not use the Samsung GN1 sensor in the Pixel series 6.
On the contrary, it might display the IMX386 12MP sensor.
The camera can be used for ultra-wide sensors and is said to be used when the cellphone is closed.
Another sensor that is rumored to come with a folded pixel phone is a double 8MP IMX355 sensor – one will be marked as ‘inner’, the other as ‘outside’.
In the past, Pixel phones have used the IMX355 sensor for selfie cameras.
It is believed that these two cameras will ensure that a folded pixel phone will be able to capture the same quality selfie photos when folded or opened.
But it is not yet known whether the new pixel folding cellphone will use the camera sensor under the screen like on the Galaxy Z fold 3 or a hole blow style like on the current pixel phone.
