Surat: Kamrej authorities on Saturday have begun a procedure to enroll an offence from a local goon who ransacked a restaurant and then assaulted the restaurant proprietor and his team Thursday night.
Authorities are looking for the accused Shako Bharwad, whose movie of assault recorded on CCTV camera moved viral.
The accused is observed ransacking furniture at Vijay Restaurant at Kamrej located on federal highway 48.
“Bharwad is infamous in the region and he ransacked the resort over some matter.
The complainant had previously asserted that the accused looted money, but are denying,” explained a police officer.
Bharwad and his partners are famous for producing nuisance in and about the region.
Complainant Chatur Patel had previously maintained that the accused refused to cover the purchased food when Patel demanded cash they ransacked the furniture and assaulted him.
