Thiruvananthapuram: Kadinamkulam Police on Wednesday arrested two men who had attacked several traders in Puthenthon here on Tuesday afternoon during extortion bass.
The police identified the accused as Rajesh alias Kala Rajesh, 32, from anakkaplilla and sachu, 30, from my Chitttumuk.
As many as four people were injured in their attacks.
The two defendants illuminated to poultry shops and demanded extortion money from the Hassan shop owner.
When he refused, they hacked him and his employees Amir used a knife.
They then proceeded to take money from cash.
They then went to a private company that functions nearby and hacked the owner Issac when he refused to pay money.
They also damaged the properties of other shops in the area.
