Gorakhpur: The murder case has been registered in six police officers in connection with the death of Kanpur-based entrepreneurs here, officials said on Wednesday.

Thirty-six-year-old Manish Gupta has died of a suspicious state in a hotel in the Ramgarhtal area here on Monday.
The case below section 302 (killing) from the Criminal Code has been registered in six police and hunting has been launched to arrest them, senior police supervisor, Gorakhpur, Vipin said Tada.

Meenakshi Gupta accused her husband died of police beating.
However, the police claimed that the businessman fell on the ground drunk and died of a head injury he faced.
The wife of the deceased has refused to accept her husband’s body after the post-mortem examination insisted on first registering a case against the police.
However, family members took the body and went to Kanpur around 1am on Tuesday night, Anand said.
According to the police, when checking on Monday night, Ramgarhtal police found that three people lived in ID from one Chandan Saini from Mahadeva Bazar in the Sikriganjur area in Gorakhpur.
Because they were suspicious, they went to the room where Manish Gupta was with two of his friends, Pradeep Chauhan and Chauhan Day from Gurgaon.
The police said when they questioned the trio, Manish Gupta fell on the ground when he was drunk and suffered a head injury.
He was taken to BRD medical university where he died during treatment, claimed by the police.
