Gorakhpur: Gorakhpur is set to find the very first Aarogya van disperse in the region 2,800 sq meter in the center of the town and out from July 7, the forest section will even begin planting medicinal plants within this region, stated divisional forest officer, said Gorakhpur branch Avinash Kumar.
“In view of Covid outbreak and other health issues, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave us the concept of creating a medicinal woods so that individuals could be knowledgeable about all the advantages and usage of medicinal plants and for environmental protection,” stated the DFO.
“With the support of the district government, we have a government property for the function that also in the middle of town,” he further added.
The property is adjacent to DDU Gorakhpur University along with the forest department will plant 300 medicinal properties such as Neem, Amla, Moringa etc and 2,000 medicinal herbs such as Tulsi, peppermint, Giloy etc,” he explained.
Boards with all the advantages and applications of medicinal trees and plants will be set up within this Arogya Van in order that people can observe the trees and plants and know their advantages, said Kumar.
Anybody interested in buying such trees and plants may get woods department’s nursery,” he explained.
