Ludhiana: Youth leader Akali Dal and former District Unit President, Gurdeep Gosha, joined BJP on Tuesday after sharing the resignation from being sad on Facebook.
He joined BJP under the leadership of the Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhwat, who was responsible for the election of Punjab, and other BJP senior leaders in Delhi.
In his resignation, he did not reveal the reason behind his steps but the people close to Gosha revealed that he had demonstrated the desire to oppose the assembly selection of the southern constituency from which the party had nomined Hira Singh Gabria, a senior leader of Akali.
Since then, BJP has convinced Gosha to join a party.
It could be considered as a big loss for the Akali Dal when Gosha was a prominent face of the party in the city and during Covid, he had served free food people for months.
When contacted, Gosha said, “I joined Bharatiya Janata’s party is a reply that suits those who portray party workers.
The party is nothing without workers.” Denies that he goes sad because he doesn’t get a ticket from the southern constituency, he claims that he takes steps to save his pride.
“More than this problem too, which is not done.
I will do every task that will give me,” he said.
President of the Bharatiya Party District of Janata, Pushpinder Singhal said, “Anyone who wants to join the party reinforced to strengthen the party.
Senior leadership has made this decision and they are wise enough to accept problems.” However, reacting to his Janata Bharatiya party.
Senior Akali Dal Maheshinder Singh Grewal said, “It won’t affect Akali Dal.
The party gave everything to Gosha and helped him reach where he was now, but he betrayed the party.”
