Gurugram: Members of the right-wing clothing organization and BJP functionaries such as Suraj Palamu and Kapil Mishra gather on Friday to conduct Puja Govardhan on the Sector Puja site in Sector 12 who have seen protests against Friday prayers for prayers in the last few weeks.
Among those who attended the event were representatives of local clothing or local units of national organizations such as VHP, some of which gave provocative speeches.
One of them, Surendra Kumar Jain from VHP, said Muslims had to go to Pakistan if they wanted to offer Namaz in the open area.
Puja on the site NAMAZ: Police said no complaints received by Surendra Kumar Jain from VHP said protests against Namaz in public places would spread from Gurugram to other parts of the country.
Clothing that organizes Puja, Samyukt Hindu Sangharsh Samiti, has submitted a memorandum to the government demanding the reminure of Namaz trials in public places.
The same clothing has organized similar protests against Namaz in 2018 after which site for Friday prayers was appointed.
There was the spread of the police in that place, but the amount was lower than last week when 25 people were arrested for trying to disturb Namez.
A senior police officer told Tii, “Namaz was called to the site first to avoid confrontation.
So, there are no legal situations and order,” said a senior police officer.
Asked about whether the speech was being examined, the officer added, “We have not received complaints until now opposed the speech.” After protests every Friday for the past few weeks, the Gurugram government recently attracted permissions for Namaz from eight of the 37 designated sites.
However, this Friday apart from eight of these sites, Namaz did not occur in three more places, including sector 12, because of the opposition.
Delhi BJP’s Kapil Mishra said the road was not for religious activities, added that if the same thing was done for pujas, the road would be blocked forever because there were some puja every day.
A district administrative official said a committee was formed to appoint places Namaz had begun working to find resolution.
