Government Bihar can lose WB funds for the STP MUNGER project

Patna: The state government may lose 70% of the World Bank’s finances carried out through the Munger Waste Processing Factory Center under the Gange Namami project if the offer is not resolved in the next ten days.
The last date to complete the financial offer of the four participating companies was June 30, 2021.
After that, the National Mission Clean Ganga (NMCG) extended the deadline until July 31.
The Munger project is estimated at around RS300 Crore.
The state must bear 30% of project costs.
The Patna High Court on Monday made the State Development Commissioner as Chair of the Technical Committee by replacing UDHD’s main secretary for a new evaluation of the offer by four private players as Buidco has a black list of two of them – M / S M / S M / S LC Infra Projects Private Project Limited.
HC canceled the Buidco order for their blacklist.
Two other Offer Companies are Toshiba Private Water Solutions Limited and L & T.
Buidco’s orders have made both companies not be eligible to compete in technical offers.
NMCG has provided Buidco that the World Bank extends the validity of the offer for the last time until July 31, 2021 to issue a no-objection followed by a reward letter.
“We want to highlight in advance that banks may not benefit the extension request extension of the offer validity outside 31 July 2021 …,” Communication is read.
In accordance with official communication between NMCG and the World Bank, recommendations have been made to the Bank to technically qualify the four participating bidders and open their financial section of the offer.
The bank also does not object to recommendations to qualify the four bidders and open their financial part of the offer.
The bank has clearly stated in its communication to the center that all procurement under the project financed will follow the guidelines for the procurement and guidelines for the work bank consultants in January 2011.
