Note The Stick Development Department accessed by TOI shows account payments for contributions 75% between October 1, 2020, and August 5, 2021.
The state government will cough 7000crore Rs to complete the payment process for current reasons.
Records of disbursement of sugar cane contributions come even though sugar consumption is lower due to pandemic.
Additional Chief Secretary (Cane Development), Sanjay Bhoosreddy told TII that a number of steps made by the department contributed to “note” payments, including marking sugar cane products other than sugar – molasses, and mud.

In fact, the payment of sugar cane prices is accelerated due to increased production and sales of ethanol.
