Government College, Velsitas Closed from January 10

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has decided to cover all universities, universities and technical education institutions from Monday, except medical and breastfeeding colleges under the control of the Ministry of Health and family welfare, given the surge in Covid-19 cases.
Special assistance Commissioner (SRC) issued orders on Friday given the increasing Covid case in mind.
The authorities of higher education institutions under the control of the state government will take all the right steps to conduct classes through online / virtual / video or other alternative learning methods.
According to orders, all hostels from academic institutions will also remain closed with the effect of January 10.
Students have been advised to avoid staying in hostels for their personal health interests.
However, scholars, researchers and students who want to stay in hostels for research / project work or other academic activities can be permitted after they provide an effort to the institutional authority.
Teaching and non-teaching mountains of universities / universities / technical education institutions will work in accordance with the guidelines that apply to government employees and carry out tasks such as taking online classes / semi-academic and administrative functions as assigned by authorities.
The order states that all ongoing offline tests will be allowed to continue in accordance with the program by adhering to the appropriate behavior of Covid.
Training / organizational institutions / individuals who offer coaching services to students will not run offline / physical / physical training.
However, online / virtual coaching will be permitted to continue.
The department concerned will issue a detailed standard operating procedure / guide / circular in this context.
Everyone who is found to violate this order will be punished by the provisions of the Disaster Management Law, 2005, and other related laws, the SRC order said.
Meanwhile, the Department of Higher Education has made a decision to suspend the biometric presence system for students, teachers and other employees from the level of universities and universities with the effects of January 8 (Saturday) until the order further remembers the Covid-19 situation in the state.

The All India Medical Institute, Bhubaneswar, on Friday decided that it would stop all offline classes with the effects of January 10.
