New Delhi: The AAM AADMI Party Minister Gopal Rai examined the preparation of the Puja Chhath in Lake Bhalswa on Tuesday, while the other AAP MLA visited Ghats which was different under their constituency to oversee the arrangement made by the government.
The government made arrangements for Puja in almost 800 sites in the city.
The District Authority creates an artificial pool and makes the necessary arrangements, including tents, lights, drinking water and toilets, for rituals on November 10-11.
Rai said that no other state government made preparations such as the government of the Kejriawan and all sites would be fully ready on Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, he accused BJP from ‘damaging’ celebration.
“BJP threatens to do puja on the edge of Yamuna despite limit.
The restrictions have been included by the Governor of the Lieutenant appointed by the center.
CM Arvind Kejriwal has not imposed one of these limits,” Rai said.
MP MP BJP Manoj Tiwari blamed Kejriwal for restrictions on arresting the Puja Chhath in Yamuna Riverbanks and said that CM was a member of DDMA, but he did not flood the agreement at the meeting when the prohibition was decided.
Tiwari took a boat in Yamuna covered in foam to highlight water pollution.
About pollution, Rai said: “The water in Yamuna comes from Haryana where BJP is in power.” AAP has blamed the negligence of the government over and Haryana for pollution in the river.
Tiwari on Tuesday also visited Wazirabad and said that untreated water flowed to Yamuna was the main cause of pollution.
“The water coming from Haryana is clean, it will be polluted mainly because the water that is not treated from the Najafgarh channel flows into it.
Kejriwal failed to examine this even after six years in power,” he said.
AAP MLA Atishi checked Chhath Ghats at Giri Nagar, Tilak Khand, Gali Number 1, Gurdwara Park, Pravasi Park, Ward 91, Astha Park Park and Thakur Karpuri.
“Our only desire is to help Delhi, Purvanchal to celebrate Chhath Puja without obstacles.
In the midst of enthusiasm and preparation, I want to urge people to practice carefully and comply with Covid-19 guidelines.
The role of BJP here is Exercising and force his politics, while AAP’s responsibility is to help regulate the puja.
BJP is doing its part and we do us, “Rai said.
