Nagpur: Wardha Police on Saturday arrested Dr.
Neeraj Kadam, a gynecologist with a government hospital, because of alleged role in illegal abortion rackets at the Kadam Hospital based in Arvi.
Dr.
Neeraj, posted at the Arvi Hospital, was the husband of Dr.
Rekha Kadam, who had been captured earlier, and the son with Dr.
Shailaja Kadam.
The investigation team with the police and the special committees suffered by a civil surgeon also seized medicines that had expired, such as Mala D, which were used for contraception, and drugs of oxytocin hormone, during the search at the Kadam Hospital, a police source said.
So far, 53 bones and 12 baby skulls, a bag of blood, and deer skin have been confiscated from a controversial hospital.
The police have also confiscated a sonographic machine from that place.
After surprising exposure from illegal abortion clinics and hospitals run by the Kadam family and their staff, more deviations have been deep.

Shailaja’s mother-in-law, now admit on the ICU at the Nagpur Hospital who claimed poor health, was studied to have permission to have an abortion in pregnancy up to 12 weeks, police sources said.
SP PRASHANT HOLKAR, overseeing an investigation under IG Cherring Dorje, said the police were investigating the first two-registered API so far.
“We really investigate rape cases and related problems together with FIR registered by the Ministry of Forestry,” he said.
