Thiruvananthapuram: Even when the central agent investigates the case of Thiruvananthapuram’s gold smuggling still languishing without proper direction, the government has avoided important questions about this case, which will definitely be answered.
Some of the questions raised by the opposition MLA in the government to the government regarding the case have not been answered by the government, the assembly shows.
Even the questions that have been raised during the previous government, are still delayed to be answered.
On January 20 this year, MLA included opposition leader V d Satheesan, Roji M John, Anwar Sadath, T J Vinod, Eldhos P Kunappillil and Anil Akkara had submitted nine questions (three questions were not late with sub-questions) to the case.
These questions include whether the main minister has written to the Prime Minister regarding gold smuggling, whether he has asked for an investigation into a case by several institutions, whether the government felt whether the institution conducted an impartial investigation, where the post was the second was accused of this case , Swapna Prabha Suresh, was appointed at Space Park under the IT department, what her salary was offered to her, etc.
Likewise, there are questions about cases that even grew up in the assembly session held last month, after the new government took over.
This, including questions from MLA in front of the ruling, also not answered.
CPM MLA Ch Kunhambu has asked whether the government intends to continue with any legal action against the enforcement directorate, and if it has arrived at the government’s notification regarding media reports that this body threatened allegations in this case to be contrary to state public activists.
Similar questions about this case were also raised by MLAS P T Thomas, N Shamshuddin and I C Balakrishnan on the same day, nothing was answered.
“There are a number of questions in this case delayed to be answered by the government.
We will take it with a speaker in the next assembly session.
It is the right of members to get answers to questions raised at home,” said Mla Roji M John.
“It has insisted that the delayed answers must be submitted along with the delay statement in assembly in the same session, or no later than the first day of the next session.
Even this period of time is not fulfilled in some cases,” said the source at the legislative secretariat.
