NEW DELHI: Congress functionary Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said the Modi government was busy fighting for a blue tick on Twitter, leaving people to fend for themselves and become “aatma nirbhar” in their fight to get Covid vaccines.
He was referring to the outrage triggered by Twitter first removing and then restoring the verified status — ‘blue tick’— on personal accounts of VP M Venkaiah Naidu and top RSS members.
Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra too trained her guns at the Modi government and asked, “Is the health of citizens less important than the Central Vista project?”
