New Delhi: The Road Transportation Ministry will create funds to provide direct hospitalization costs to victims of road accidents to ensure that no medical care is seized to want money or officers.
This week’s ministry issued a notification concept of the creation of this fund.
Part of the toll or user fees paid by someone to use NHS and fines collected from contractors and authorities survive for poor quality jobs that produce accidents, will be used to create a corpus motor vehicle accident fund.
In the case of insured vehicles involved in an accident on the road, the cost of hospitalization will be replaced by the insurance company concerned.
In the case of hits-and-run or crashes involving uninsured vehicles, the costs will be disbursed from the fund.
“We need to find a solution to help victims of hit-and-run cases or where the vehicle is not insured.
So, in those cases, the government will bear the burden.
The number of approved claims must be disbursed by the appointed body for the hospital.
If In the case of accidents involving uninsured vehicles, the vehicle was nabbed and negligence was established, vehicle owners had to pay the costs incurred by the government, “said a source.
