Mysuru: Former Minister of Minister S M Krisna has stated that the opportunity to inaugurate Mysuru Dasara is a blessing for him.
Speaking to reporters after receiving an invitation to inaugurate the Dasara from the government, Krishna said Mysore City and Ramakrishna Ashram influenced him.
“I spent school and college in Mysuru,” he said.
“Let our country achieve all-round progress with Dewi Chamundeshwari blessings,” he said, and thanked the Chairman of the Minister of Basavaraj Bommai, MySore District Minister St Somashekar and others had chosen him to take awards on October 7.
Bommai said he had been unanimously decided to invite Krishna to inaugurate the Dasara.
“We thank it for accepting our invitation,” he said, added: “Krishna has reached the peak in politics.
He serves countries in various capacities.
We are honored to invite him to inaugurate the Dasara.” Revenue Minister R Ashoka, MP Pratap Sime, DC Bagadi Gautham and the others are present.
STS invited Somashekar’s bommai invited Bommai to the Dasara celebration at the last residence in RT Nagar, Bengaluru.
He maintained CM and extended the invitation.
Somashekar said Cm would visit Chamarajanagar after the first ceremony of Dasara.
“We celebrate the Dasara in the traditional way by following the Covid-19 rules,” he said.
