Gurgaon: Wing Enforcement of Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) on Wednesday has around 200 jhuggis and shops from the main land of 3-acre in sector 57.
Land intended for groups of housing groups and several jhuggists have come there, officials said .
The land was acquired by HSVP back but over a period of time as many as 150 jhuggis, five stores that sold construction materials and two dhabas came on land.
SDO (Survey) Office Estate-2 HSVP (Gurgaon) Satyanarayan said the land was for the development of the community housing community.
“Now the land has been cleaned from encroachment and we will soon prepare land development plans,” SDO said.
Junior Engineers Balraj Singh, Sandeep Lot, Naresh Rana, Yogesh Kumar, Vikash Saini and Amandeep said they traveled against encroachment for free HSVP land.
Last week around 2.5 hectares of main land in the DLF area were cleaned from shrimp.
HSVP staggered in the financial crisis and tried to monetize the land to clean up due.
Authority has taken several thousand crores bank loans and pays monthly installments of Rs 100 Crore.
