Bhubaneswar: The Department of Higher Education will soon review the activities of regional education director (RDES).
Detailed discussions will be held with Rdes about their work on August 9, while the department will also set some new responsibilities to them.
In a letter to RDE, the Writing Department, “the database of the number of degrees and professional colleges, including details of permissions and recognition given to this university, needs to be prepared with the direct effect and the same need to be submitted to the government for compilation.” Plans for the Odisha Education Act Amendments, remembering the reforms described in the National Education Policy, 2020.
The department has asked Rdes to provide advice on enforcement of regulations and the elimination of obsolete provisions in Indonesia.
The department will take their views to open the application window for temporary recognition or permanent recognition to higher education institutions.
It will also take their advice on how to arrange reception in professional universities to improve the quality of education.
