New Delhi: The government has urged pregnant women and nursing mothers to advance for vaccination against Covid-19 without hesitation as a scientific study showing its jab safely and effectively against infection.
Underpointing that the risk of developing severe disease due to Covid-19 infection, which leads to delivery and pre-dream complications both in mothers and high children, officials say vaccination can save two lives.
“The impact of Covid-19 in pregnant women is no different from the others.
But for pregnant women, Covid became a serious illness because of their physiology at that time was different,” said the member of Niti Aayog Dr.
Vk Paul.
“Apart from the mother, there is also a risk for children if he contracts infection,” Paul added.
