Government orders came two months ago, but the document has not reported in the OPD

Ghaziabad: Even after instructions from the government, doctors do administrative work, including the addition of medical officers, etc., do not do OPD work.
The government has made it mandatory for the doctor to attend the OPD for two hours, three days a week, and send reports to the State Health Department regularly.
The source says there is a reluctance to the part of the specialist designated in the administrative post and they are not ready to do OPD.
The doctor on their side said that because most administrative work and efforts to control Covid, dengue fever, malaria and vaccination related work, not much time there for OPD.
Because of lack of doctors across the state, the Head of Additional School (Health) Amit Mohan Prasad has issued instructions in this case on June 21.
After his appointment as the Chief Medical Officer in July, Dr.
Bhavtosh Shankhdhar said that he would carry out operations and ask other ACMOS and other health officials to do OPDs.
Even though Dr.
Shankhdhar, who is an eye specialist, does some operations, other senior doctors have not followed.
Two medical supervisory heads of the district combination hospital and MMG Hospital said they saw patients every day.
There has been a lack of doctors in the state for a long time with around 30% of posts lying empty in Ghaziabad.
The District Joint Hospital is the most affected and the situation in the MMG district hospital is also not good.
Because of the lack of doctors, OPD and emergency services are also affected.
Now if the doctor starts taking OPDs, it will be the most benefited patient.
According to the government’s orders, all doctors appointed at the administrative post, including CMO, ACMO, Deputy CMO, hospital medical supervisors, inches large centers and communities will do the OPD three days a week.
Not only these benefits of patients, the pressure on the doctor will also decrease.
Sources informed that instructions in this case were released in the past too but rarely occurred.
Dr Shankhdhar said he would give orders as soon as they forget the current situation where they deal with viral fever, dengue and malaria cases.
