Government Planning Relaxing More Covid Curbs: Maha CM

Mumbai: The Maharashtra government plans to calm down more covid-19 sidewalks in the coming days but very carefully and will also get a telephone about the local train trip, said Minister of Uddhav Thackeray said on Saturday.
Speaking of a function organized by BrihanMumbai (BEST) electricity supply that does more electric buses to his fleet, the main minister also said he met representatives of hotels and restaurants, who demanded further relaxation within 4pm, and explained to them that sidewalks will decrease step by step.
“The Maharashtra government will provide more relaxation, but we take every step carefully.
The decision will be taken for local train passengers too.
We need to ensure that this relaxation does not trigger another wave of Covid-19,” Thackeray said.
The recent state government introduced several relaxation in 25 districts, which have reported the low level of covid-19 peposititivity, by allowing all stores to remain open until 8pm.
The government also allows the resumption of schools to certain classes in urban and rural areas from August 17 and so on.
At present, ordinary people are not permitted to take the suburban trains of Mumbai who are operated only for people employed in important sectors.
Many quarters demand that ordinary people, who are fully vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus, are permitted to take a local train, called Lifeline of Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra on Friday reported 5,539 new cases of death Covid-19 and 187, who took infection calculations to 63.41,759 and tolls to 1,33,717.
The state is now left with 74,483 active cases.
