Lucknow: The State Government on Wednesday released the final installment of Rs 74.5 Crore to be distributed as relief to more than 2 lakh farmers who were influenced by flooding in the current financial year.
The Department of Revenue has identified 6.17 lakh farmers affected by flooding and has released a number of more than RS 207 Crore for that purpose.
This allocation will be carried out for 44 districts including Jhansi, Gorakhpur, Aligarh, Bahraich, Varanasi, Bareilly, Barabanki, Jalaun, Rampur, Kanpur, Azamgarh and Unnao.
The amount of assistance will be sent to the authorities who will distribute it everywhere.
