Government school, lectures see increasing registration in the year of the Pandemic

New Delhi: Switching to online teaching is not the only change of pandemic that has been brought in Indian rural schools and learning landscapes.
A detailed survey was studied in detail school registration, dependence on private lectures and many other aspects to compile the annual status of the education report (rustic) 2021.
It was carried out by volunteers from universities, universities, non-profit organizations and teacher training institutions.
Volunteers speak by telephone to parents and teachers, aim to understand how children in the age group 5-16 have studied at home since the emergence of pandemics.
It reaches more than 76,000 village households spread across 581 districts in 25 states and UTS.

Government schools see increased registration
Registration in private school dips almost 8% in 2021, the survey was found, with an appropriate increase in government schools.
The change is more visible in the lower class.

Learning online, limited to the niche segment before hit pandemic, now it’s almost a norm.
This survey found a large leap in the number of households with a smartphone between 2018 (36.5%) and 2021 (67.6%).
28% of respondents said they had bought new smartphones, mostly to meet the education needs of a child.
Houses with children in higher classes show greater adaptability to online teaching using smartphones.
