Lucknow / Gorakhpur: The State Government will celebrate the spectacular performance of India at the Tokyo Olympics respecting all medal winners and outstanding people, regardless of their country.
A big event will be held at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on August 19 where the Chair of the Yogi Adityanath Minister will provide cash prizes to all sportsmen who have made a proud country.
While the winner of the Gold Medal Neeraj Chopra will receive Rs 2 Crore, the silver medalist Ravi Dahiya and Mirbai Chanu will receive Rs 1.5 Crore.
Likewise, three individual bronze medals – Sindhu PV, Lovlina Borghain and Bajrang Punia – each will be given Rs 1 Crore.
In addition, all 19 Indian Hockey team members will be given Rs 1 Crore.
Members of the Women’s Hockey Team, which appeared very good but finished all fourth, each will also be given by Rs 50 Lakh each and will make Aditi Ashok, which misses bronze.
In addition, all 10 players from participating in the Olympics will be given each of Rs 25 Lakh.
