New Delhi: The leader of Congress Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday accused the government of weakening countries and said India was never so vulnerable.
He quoted media reports claiming that the Chinese military again crossed the actual control line (LAC) in East Ladakh in several places and that at least there was a clash between the two parties.
However, the Indian army said on Wednesday that there was no effort by India or China to occupy the areas in the East Ladakh where they escaped in February and both parties were involved in talks to resolve the remaining problems in the region.
In a tweet, Gandhi said, “the Indian government (Indian government) the use of foreign policy and defense as a domestic political tool has weakened our country”.
“India has never been vulnerable,” he said.
