Government’s diversification of the government to encourage eco growth

Bhubaneswar: Not satisfied with attracting investment in the mining and metallurgical sectors, the state government now shifts to focus on industrial diversification to accelerate economic growth and generation of employment.
The day after the single-level level window license authority cleaned three wheat-based ethanol factories, the source of the State Industry Department said they were looking for more investors in the chemical sector in addition to focusing on two other sectors such as special steel (alloy steel used in the downstream industry) and food processing.
“We, of course, focus on the mining and metal sector because Odisha has a natural advantage.
Given that we also see large investment options in Odisha in sectors such as chemicals, special steel and food processing, we will continue to focus on sectors It’s at least six months ahead, “said Secretary of the Hemant Sharma State Industry.
Industry Secretary said they reached investors in the special steel sector by creating facilities for them in Kalinganagar and the closest places for the growth of additional and downstream industries.
Sharma said they expected a considerable investment in these three sectors in the next few months.
While some big players in the food processing sector have arranged units in the state and are in expansion mode, industrial secretaries say they are related to more investors from this sector.
“All of these three sectors are currently focusing on having great potential for generations of employment and adding value to the country’s economy,” Sharma said.
Experts say the state must also explore investment in the logistics and warehousing sector, which has extraordinary growth potential because it proposes industrial corridors and port growth.
The Chairman of the Minister of Naveen Patnaik recently said that the policy framework and the Odisha facilitation mechanism had succeeded in mobilizing investment in various sectors such as petrochemical, processing of food, clothing and clothing.
Naveen said the ongoing diversification of industrial bases will further increase job opportunities in Odisha.
