Thiruvananthapuram: Governor Kerala Arif Mohammed Khan asked the Chancellor’s representative to analyze and work on benchmarks that could be implemented from the 2020 national education policy and to reflect on the challenges and the way forward, to take Kerala’s higher education to the height of the press, a press release said from the governor’s office.
He gave a welcome cover at a two-day meeting of Chancellor’s two-day representative.
He emphasized the need for collaboration between universities and shared knowledge to strengthen research and innovation and asked VC to explore more fields for the cooperation.

“The world changes at the speed of lightning, with innovative technology that has changed outdated overnight.
In such a scenario, our approach must be proactive and imaginative, guided by motto discovery, innovation, and improvement,” he said.
He also urged representatives of Chancellor to seek initiatives to make internal administration more efficient and fast by simplifying procedures and also seeking to improve academic quality.
During the meeting, Chancellor’s representative gave the governor to the actions taken by them in applying policy suggestions related to interdisciplinary studies, digitally activated teaching, development of learning management systems, credit transfers, etc.
The governor suggests that the universities must come out with solutions to specific challenges and make joint efforts to produce faster results.
