Governor to join a quick protest against the threat of dowry today

Thiruvananthapuram: First for the governor of the state, Governor Arif Mohammed Khan has decided to join the protest called the organized dowry practice after a recent tragic death, a young woman who was repeatedly attacked by her husband in the name of the dowry.

The governor, who will fast in Raj Bhavan from 8am to 6pm, will take part in a prayer meeting planned at Gandhi Bhavan in Thycaud.
