Written by news2in

Thiruvananthapuram: The government and opposition once again locked the horns on the inquiry of Kodakara Hawala, with the latter claiming that the first trying to help BJP leaders by including them in the list of witnesses even though it was clear that the money was brought for the purposes of the BJP selection.
Looking for leave for the delay movement, Mla Roji John said that the government returned to the previous claim that the beneficiaries of the hawala money stolen in Kodakara would be ordered.
Even though the police found that the mastermind behind brought money to Kerala was the BJP leader, including the President of the State K Surendran, the police had included them in the list of witnesses and not accused, he added.
CM Pinarayi Vijayan denied the accusation of opposition and said BJP leaders had knowledge of money which was why they were in the list of witnesses today.
Investigations progress, and those in the list of witnesses can be accused, he said.
Vijayan said the state police would not submit anyone in the case only based on the political tendency.
He demanded the opposition to speak ‘on behalf of BJP’ in the Assembly because the party did not have a representation in the Assembly.
“Should the government hand over the probe to find the source of the black money to the central agent? This is a shameless holder taken to support BJP,” he said.
The minister further said that the Congress in Kerala took a position that was contrary to what was taken by its own center leadership.
Congress State Leadership is trying to end agents such as CBI and ED, when central leadership has been called CBI as a political weapon and ed as a dirty trick, he added.
Meanwhile, opposition leader VD Satheesan slammed the minister’s head to divert attention from the core problems to other things instead of giving answers.
He said that in the case where the role of President K state BJP was clear, the state police called him to interrogate three months after the incident, gave him enough time to find a way to save himself.
Sathean said that the opposition has never demanded that this case be investigated by the central agent, but has said that there is no bar in submitting this case to central agents such as ED based on the PML law, even when the state police tried to probe.
He added that the minister’s chairman would only fail if he tried to accuse UDF to become a Pro-Sangh Parivar.
Later, the opposition held a walkout after MB Speaker Rajesh denied permission for the postponement movement based on CM answers.
